About us

Geneviève Dostaler is a trademark that has been in existence for over 35 years. She studied at the École Nationale des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. This is where she gets her sense of design, color and fabrics. Back in Montreal in the mid-seventies, she decided to concentrate her artistic work in fashion accessories and she registered for the first time at the Salon des Métiers d'Art de Montréal in 1977.

Over the years, Geneviève Dostaler, has participated in prestigious trade shows in Canada, the United States and Europe. Her work has been recognized by obtaining numerous grants. Over the decades, the harsh Canadian climate has inspired her to create hats and scarves that protect, warm and transcend the beauty of a face.

Visionary and passionate about hat making, Geneviève Dostaler has passed on her passion to his son Olivier Dostaler and joined the company more than ten years ago. Gifted with a good sense of marketing, good taste and an uncommon talent for sales, Olivier Dostaler proved to be the ideal person to assist his mother. Year after year, it is with great joy that he finds his numerous clients in all the shows in which Geneviève Dostaler participates.
